Kisser Paludan is the data controller for the personal data processed on kisserpaludan.com and in connection with purchases, the newsletter, courses and therapy.

What information we process

When you sign up for the newsletter

First name and email address. We also record whether you open and click in the emails, so we can see whether the content is relevant.

When you purchase a membership, a course or a place on a workshop

Name, email, purchase history and the information necessary to complete the payment. TO BE CONFIRMED: we do not receive card details ourselves — they are handled by the payment provider.

When you respond to a questionnaire

Your answer, and — if you provide it — your email address. The answers are used to understand what matters to the people we talk to, and may be reproduced anonymously.

When you write to us

What you write in the email yourself, as well as your email address.

When you visit the site

Technical information such as IP address, browser and which pages you view — see the section on cookies.

Therapy and health information

TO BE WRITTEN BY KISSER AND REVIEWED SEPARATELY. Information that emerges in therapy is sensitive personal data and is covered both by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and by the Danish rules on record-keeping and confidentiality that apply to psychologists. This section must describe what is recorded, how long the record is kept, who has access to it, and how it is stored securely. It cannot be written generically.

Why we process the information

• To fulfil an agreement with you — to deliver the membership, course or time you have purchased.
• Because you have given consent — newsletter and marketing emails. You can always withdraw your consent with one click at the bottom of any email.
• Because we have a legitimate interest — to operate and improve the site and respond to inquiries.
• Because the law requires it — the Danish Bookkeeping Act for purchases, and TO BE CONFIRMED: the record-keeping rules for therapy.

Who we share the information with

We never sell your information. We use the following providers, who process information on our behalf:

• Simplero — the platform behind the website, newsletter, membership and payment.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we use Meta's pixel to measure our ads. See the section on cookies.

• TO BE FILLED IN: other tools, e.g. Zoom for live sessions, if used

TO BE CONFIRMED: whether any of the providers transfer data outside the EU/EEA, and on what basis.

How long we keep the information

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Purchases and bookkeeping: five years from the end of the financial year, pursuant to the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

Your rights

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have incorrect information corrected, to have information deleted, to have the processing restricted, to object to the processing, and to receive your information in a commonly used format.

Write to kisser@paludan.dk if you would like to exercise any of these rights. We will respond as soon as possible and no later than within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we process your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark — datatilsynet.dk.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and cookies from Meta's pixel, which measures what happens after a click on our ads.

TO BE CLARIFIED: there is currently no cookie consent mechanism on the site. If the Meta pixel is used for marketing, this generally requires consent before it is set. Either a consent solution needs to be set up, or the setup needs to change.

Changes

We update this policy whenever our processing of information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
